How does Distraction Box work?

Distraction Box is a postal box delivering wellbeing for the mind. Each themed box contains 5-8 wellness goodies to create happy distractions for the mind from life’s stresses and strains. The products are hand selected by our Co-founders, Dr Samantha Birch and Rachael Field.

Who is Distraction Box for?

Whether you are a fitness fanatic, a self-proclaimed wellness nut or just looking for ways to reduce stress and increase and happiness, Distraction Box is for you! Who doesn’t love a box of good-for-you goodies delivered to your door? No one.


What’s inside a Distraction Box box?

Between 5-8 products designed to help you distract the mind from life’s stresses and strains and increase your overall emotional wellbeing. Boxes will differ each theme but will include a mix of creative or relaxing products, foodie treats, mindfulness activities such as Mindful colouring and general wellness products that help the mind to just ‘be’.


Is Postage & Packaging included?

Postage is charged separately.  It costs £2.90 per box and we use Royal Mail second class.  If you are in a hurry and need the box any quicker, please email us to see what options you have.


How can I get in touch with you?

We are only a very small start up company right now so the best way to contact us is via email We will aim to get back to you within 24-48 hours.

Can I buy a Distraction Box as a gift?

Our boxes have been designed to encourage taking time out and giving ourselves some self love. However, the Boxes are also great gifts too. During the checkout process, you have the option to select a different delivery address to your billing address. What a lucky friend you have 🙂


Do you cater for people with allergies?

Unfortunately we’re not in a position to guarantee that the products we include in our box are suitable for everyone to use. If you do suffer from an allergy, it’s your responsibility to check that the products are suitable for you to use and don’t include any ingredients that may cause a reaction.

I’ve ordered a off box – when will it be delivered?

We send out our boxes every Monday (unless it’s a bank holiday).  If you are ordering a box as a gift and our shipping date doesn’t tie in with the date the gift is required, please do feel free to email us at and we can look at options.  PLEASE DO NOT ORDER BEFORE contacting us as we cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet your delivery deadlines.  We will always try to help where we can so please just ask 🙂

How do you ship your boxes?

Distraction Box is shipped via Royal Mail 2nd class post. We ship our boxes every Monday.  International deliveries will vary depending on each region, but ALL boxes are shipped on the same day each week.


I’ve forgotten my password, what should I do?

No problem – we’ve all been there! Simply visit the ‘login’ area and click the ‘I’ve forgotten my password’ section. Follow the instructions and change your password. Bingo. If for whatever reason you’re still having issues, email us and we will do what we can to help.


I’m not receiving your emails, what should I do?

Firstly, sign into your account and check the email address you entered is correct. If it is, then check your email Spam folder as messages can occasionally go in there without you knowing. If there are no emails from us there either, drop us an email and we will look into it for you.


Where does Distraction Box ship to?

All over the World!  Once at the checkout, pop in your address and the postage cost will be added to your order.


Is the Distraction Box discreet?

We have chosen a plain white postal box to ensure it’s discreet. And each box is posted in a shipping bag too.

What type of products do you feature in the box?

Our focus is on wellbeing for the mind. We are looking to feature products that distract the mind from every day stress, such as a relaxing bath salt or sleep spray, candles, foodie treats, games for 1 or 2 players, mindfulness activities, healthy teas and other drinks, adult colouring to name but a few! As long as your product can contribute to a customer’s total wellbeing then let’s chat. Email


How much space is allocated to our product?

The size of the box is 30cm by 15cm by 5cm deep and we aim fit 5-8 products in each month. We try where possible to send full size products but we know of a few brands that have good quality trial or travel sized versions which will work well too.

If you think your product might be too large, don’t despair. There are other options we can discuss with you and we are always open to change the box size for a month if we feel our customers would really love your product. Email to find out more.
